These days, your social media profiles appear to be the windows to the spirit—or possibly the version of your soul you have a craving for appearing to the world. It’s a typical current dating practice to check a person’s social media before going on a first date or solidifying a crush, yet would you say you are searching for the correct stuff? Here are 10 warnings that your new bae won’t be worth your time.
1. He watches all your stories but never actually talks to you.
It’s been three days since you messaged him about hanging out, yet he’s been too busy clicking through EVERY ONE of your IG stories to react to you?
2. He pretty much only takes photos of himself.
Sure, everyone knows from experience that anything with your face in it usually garners more likes than even the prettiest Parisian landscape. But does it always have to be about some arbitrary, gamified self-rating system?
3. He writes long, overwrought, pseudo-philosophical captions on everything.
Even if he has thousands of followers. He will stop before hiking and write big paragraphs, big captions and tag each and everyone in memes and pictures and that is too annoying when you are with him.
4. He posts or DMs you reeeeeally bad memes.
Instagram is brimming with great memes! In the event that he picks the ones that are really unfunny/cowardly/sexist, you realize that his sense of humor IRL won’t turn you on, either. Click on the next page to read more.
5. Or he never actually messages you anything back.
Get you a man who’ll send you each corgi puppy video he runs over. Boycott folks who scarcely react to your messages and never send anything back.
6. He adds hashtags to get likes and then DELETES THEM AFTER.
Unless he’s a fitness or lifestyle blogger who does this to really profit, this endeavor to appear to be easily cool while applying an unexpected amount of effort is, uh, lame as hellfire. Click on the next page to read more.
7. He stories every vaguely interesting thing he does.
Try to stay away from the boys has to painstakingly story every part of a four-course meal. I know social media is available for posting but please can you just make it less. Nobody is interested in your food.
8. He Insta-stalks his exes a little too much.
If your partner has the staggering feeling to always ridicule whatever his ex simply posted or hunches over when he watches her stories, there’s unquestionably something up. Click on the next page to read more.
9. He almost exclusively likes pics of random Instagram models.
Why do guys keep doing this? Do you think the model will see your <3 and care? Do you need the young lady you’re dating to feel scared by the other ladies you find hot?
10. He never posts pics with you.
This is possible he wants to look single, or him just not being excited enough about the relationship to ever need a couple photograph. Observing different folks gladly share selfies with their sweethearts can hurt when yours never do the same thing for your happiness.
