Gideon Yeakely from Oklahoma when featured on “My 600-lb Life” weighed a whopping a 650pounds. At a tender age, he faced some mishaps in his family that made his eyes avert towards the food for the comfort. At the only age of 33 years, he looked like a heavyweight champion.

He was just eight years old when his parents parted their ways. The 33 years old had to face the turmoil of choosing one from his parents and eventually he chose his father. After graduating from high school he weighed 400 pounds and the things got worse when his mother died, and he was just 25.

Due to the star excessive weight, he couldn’t get any work, therefore, Kayleigh, his wife had to work to support the family and at one point she got so exhausted that at one point Kayleigh told the cameras if he couldn’t get himself she will leave her, taking their son back to Oklahoma.

The star was nearly on the deathbed when he decided to undergo gastric bypass surgery. After the surgery, he refused to get out of the bed as he was suffering from excruciating fatigue.’It is hard because when I felt anything, I could just go eat. Now I can’t do that,’ he told the sources.
Then 650-pounds man started taking sessions of Therapist.
The 33 years old told his doctor that he didn’t have any energy, But the doctor concluded that he was using fatigue as his coping mechanism and finally stated that the issue is not medical and he needs to see a therapist if the energy level didn’t improve.
Yeakley improved his lifestyle by 220lbs!
After the surgery, he lost nearly 200lbs! While taking therapist sessions it improved his energy levels. Amid improving his energy levels he was able to spend his time with the son Jonathan. Now he started his journey working as a juvenile detention officer. That’s a great news as his fixed his life, while family being the foremost factor in his life.
Life is slimmer and happier now
Last autumn they were showered with love as there was one more who was added to their family. The baby girl is named Frankie. And not to forget he is simultaneously working towards his weight loss. The new seasons of My 600-lb Life and Where Are They Now? are scheduled to premiere in the spring of 2019, so maybe we will be lucky to see them!
