The mirror-coated treats are designed by an Aberdeen café called Almondine, and they’re glorious.

Every pastry is made by Susan Williamson and her two girls Jenny and Suzanne.


At initially, the family started their work with Parisian-style macarons, however, they’ve since extended and now make a wide range of creative cakes, pastries, and chocolates.

Crisp macarons are their specialty, you can see in many of their designs.

Obviously, their evening teas are unbelievable.


You get a choice of their most famous pastries: big macarons loaded with Scottish raspberries and crème pâtissière, chocolate arches, eclairs, and favor tea.

The Williamsons were even approached to try out for the BBC’s Bake Off: Crème de la Crème program.


The buzz about the Aberdeen bistro contacted the makers of the series, and they were made a request to present their wonderful, gleaming, great cakes to the world.
