Mike’s life has been a real rollercoaster ride!
Mike has really been struggling to make himself a better person, he has been making all kinds of efforts to show the world how he has changed for the good. But there was one thing that still left to overcome in his life, it was his tax fraud case!
Mike and his brother were accused of tax fraud!
During the filming of season 1 of Jersey Shore Family Vacation, we know that he and his brother Marc were accused of tax fraud and tax evasion in 2014. Previously, he was said to face five years in prison and up to $250,000 in fines.
Then he suddenly decided to get married!
Mike proposes to his longtime girlfriend Lauren, “I fell in love with you because you loved me when I couldn’t even love myself. You’re my best friend, my college sweetheart, my better half. You make me a better person. Please make me the happiest man on earth. Will you please marry me?”
Snooki previously revealed how nervous he was before the hearing!
Snooki reveals that the entire Jersey Shore cast is “freaking out for him.” Now, they are trying to help him out, Snooki added, “Honestly we don’t know what is going to happen tomorrow… so hopefully everything is going to be fine.” What was the court’s decision did he get jailed? Snooki said, “We just went for her dress fitting so you know she is putting on the dress and doing all the fun bride stuff but she is freaking out too. I think we just all want it to be over but we are also hoping for a great outcome.” Everyone is really praying for mike…
Mike has been ordered 8 months in prison by the court!
Mike now really regrets missing out on his tax payments as he has been sentenced for 8 months in prison. That’s a really long time in prison, this also means he won’t be getting married anytime soon. His brother Marc has been sentenced for 24 months in prison!
Mike was really sad with the decision as he had put in so much effort!
Mike explained, he has “worked so hard to turn my life around and be the best person I can be. “I had a very strong foundation for my recovery with over two years [sober] when I entered the house. But I did have to challenge myself to go out and film a whole season of Jersey Shore and have fun without alcohol — to show the youth out there that it is possible.”
