She lived there from 1981 until her death in 1997 and the photos were taken by Paul Burrell, her butler.

Mr. Burrell said: “When the Princess died, I felt it was appropriate to record where she had lived, spent much of her married life and brought up the Princes.

She had a large collection of cuddly toys, including a frog that she’d made when she was younger.

“These interiors were chosen by the Princess. This was the place she called home.”
