What is Down Syndrome?
If you didn’t know Down’s syndrome is a genetic disorder caused when abnormal cell division results in extra genetic material from chromosome 21. It causes a distinct facial appearance, intellectual disability and developmental delays.
But it never affected Dane’s talents.
Dane’s mom said, “He’s been musical since around two years, he’s been playing the drums. He sings. He loves music. He puts his whole heart into everything he does.” Dane’s aunt added, “He is just very vibrant, he’s very high-functioning so if he hears music, it’s just something that sticks with him.”
