Prince Philip is understood to have been taken to doctor’s by car from Windsor to London on Tuesday evening, as a prudent step on the guidance of his specialist. He has been out of bed today and is said to be in great spirits.

Prince Charles has gone with the Queen rather than his dad to the State Opening of Parliament on Wednesday.
