Princes William And Harry Join Kate To Celebrate Queen’s 70th Wedding Anniversary

The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh celebrated 70 years of marriage after saying their vows at Westminster Abbey on November 20, 1947. To stamp the outstanding event they released a collection of pictures of the couple together.

The Queen appeared in a cream day dress by Angela Kelly which was done off with a ‘Scarab’ yellow gold brooch – a personal gift from the prince to the Queen in 1966. The Duke of Edinburgh looked stunning in a smart three-piece suit.

Earlier today Her Majesty, 91, displayed her 96-year-old spouse Philip by naming him a Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order for his service to the sovereign. The bells of Westminster Abbey, where they wedded, ringed to check the event.
