It was reported that she has got arrested. Her criminal record doesn’t end here. In fact, in her past, she had multiple records of creating crimes at her name. Now, this time why has she got arrested?

Here’s why she is arrested this time!

It was reported from Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office that she has got arrested for a felony in possession of a firearm on Dec 4, 2002. During the investigation, the firearm was found.

The officials, while speaking on her arrest, said “Officers then interviewed two suspects,” the report read. “One of the witnesses observed the defendant in possession of the firearm. The other witness advised that she had been called by the defendant and asked to take possession of the firearm.”

No suspect in the burglary!

It was reported that the two other suspects were caught in the burglary act. But, Hampton isn’t a convicted felon. And it was her sheer luck that she is not a suspect in the burglary crime.

Here’s what the court judges said

“At trial, we would be unable to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the firearm was in the possession of the defendant,” the judgment read. “The key witness who places the firearm in the possession of the defendant was a person who had been accused of committing a crime against the defendant the day before. Defendant agrees that she did possess the firearm in the past, so even if the defendant’s prints were found on the firearm, that evidence would not assist in this prosecution.”

Not a new trouble for her!

She was arrested on August 19, 1998, after she attacked a law enforcement officer. The reports obtained mentioned that “While officer was speaking with complainant, [Hampton] walked into [the] residence and began to argue with her,” the report read. “[Hampton] then spit on complainant and threw a glass bottle at her.”
