This mother has really a bad luck, as even her husband is suing her. The legal trouble seems to be never-ending for Luann de Lesseps. It was reported that she isn’t following the pretty important part of the divorce settlement made back in 2009.
A mother’s nightmare!
It has not taken place on the Real Housewives show that a mother is seen sued by her children. She hasn’t had a good luck, so far. Her husband Alexandre de Lesseps along with their children is suing the RHONY actress for violating the divorce settlement.
After the pair split, she had obtained the lone possession over the couple’s N.Y Mansion. She was supposed to set up a trust for their adult children, Victoria and Noel de Lesseps.
Here’s what the documents reveal, The home itself was meant to “fund the trust with an undivided one-half interest in and to the Marital Residence,” This document statement might surely go against her.
Her children accused her of selling the house!
Alexandre and his two kids are claiming that While she was supposed to set up a trust for them – she reportedly sold the house for $8 million in 2014 and bought a $3.1 million Southhampton home with that money.
Did she threaten to sell the house?
It was reported that she has threatened to sell the house in order to purchase a more luxurious home in New York for her. After being threatened by her – Alexandre and the two kids have filed a case against her. The statement in documents reveals that if she fails to appear in the court to defend herself – the judgment will be given against her by default.
Here’s what she said about her split
Referring to her split with her husband Alexandre, she said, “I think people think I’m the countess that married the old count and the Housewives came along and changed my life. But before I was a Housewife, I feel like I lived a lifetime of lives,” she says in a RHONY special. “After the fifth day, he said, ‘Marry me.’ I lived in a fairy tale, too good to be true.”
