Reiner Dettlinger, who was termed as Max Wright’s new man by one of the German Newspaper, has complained over his removal. He said, “He’s ashamed of ALF. It was a demotion because he came straight from the theater.”
The character he played!
Wright had played a good character in the show. He was playing a character of a TV Dad named as Willie Tanner in the family comedy. Well, his offscreen life was the complete opposite.
