Cheeto The Cat that lives permanently on the premises of a college in California.
UC Davis College of Letters and Science in Davis has a permanent resident, a cat, around the physics building. His name is Cheeto and he is loved by all the students on the campus. To an extent where they keep feeding him all the time despite him having a specific eating time.
Physics students are promoting the other students to stop feeding Cheeto as he has become overweight.
The students wrote on their Facebook page saying Cheeto, the ginger cat, is growing fatter day by day. Please stop feeding him. He’s overweight and the squirrels eat the extra food. The students have even indicated Cheeto’s kill count – ten rats, sixteen mice, seven gophers, nine blue jays, three rabbits, and eight squirrels.
They say that Cheeto has started looking like a cheese puff.
Below the feline body condition chart in which the obese cat is circled in black to indicate what Cheeto has become, the students put up a sign saying that his name is Cheeto and he has a DESIGNATED feeder from the physics department every morning! We quite like this cat as he provides valuable emotional support when Physics shatters our souls.
He has become far too overweight and for his health, please do not feed him – no matter how much he begs! And he will beg. Because he knows we are suckers!
Also, the squirrels like to eat extra food, and they are getting heart diseases.
The students also gave a graphic description of the correlation between Cheetos food ratio and squirrels heart disease.
There have been rumors that Cheeto apparently is unable to finish all the food. So the squirrels end up eating the extra food. This poses a problem for them as the students found the correlation between extra food and squirrels heart.
